Peter Uvén was down here in Skellefteå today taking care of some awesome bass laydowns for the two recorded tracks. I wish I had remembered to take some photos but as always I can’t remember to pick up that camera and the lights were too dark anyways… but next time!
The most exciting part was that Uvén didn’t even listen through the tracks before hitting the record button! I’m amazed by the skills of that hairy dude…
I have re-designed the old Azure logo, when Christophe Szpajdel did it he was siting in a bumpy van on autobahn in Germany, so it was time to make it more symetric and fresh it up a bit. In comparison with the old one it can look a bit booring at first, but it works much better in all formats which is the most important thing.
Long time no see!
I’m currently up in “Norrland” visiting Mattias, helping out with some designs for his company Morningdew Media.
But that’s not what this post is about. The real news is that Azure has entered the studio to finally record a follow-up to 2005′s “King of Stars – Bearer of Dark”.
Our hope is to document some of the recording process here on this webbspace.
I have not yet written all the songs and the lyrics are in a early stage so no titles can be revealed yet. What we do got is the drums on two songs and guitar finished on one of those.
So stay tuned for some more updates from us on this re-designed webbspace!
